Many unexpected friendships have been formed on I’m a Celebrity… over the years. But one of the most heart-warming is the bond between Corrie legend Beverley Callard and Radio 1 presenter Jordan North, who supported each other while braving Bushtucker Trials in a Welsh castle for last year’s series.

Since then, the pair have remained pals, and now they’re embarking on a sun-soaked road trip through Spain for a new fivepart ITV travelogue, Beverley and Jordan: Destination Wedding, which, if all goes to plan, will culminate in Beverley renewing her wedding vows to husband Jon.

Did you ever imagine you would become such great mates?

JORDAN As soon as we met on I’m a Celebrity…, we just clicked. That only ever happens a few times in your life.

BEVERLEY I’d never met Jordan before, and on the first day, the production team kept saying, ‘Sorry, another delay – Jordan’s being sick.’ I was like, ‘Who is this diva on top of the cliff holding everything up?’
