After a difficult few months, Belle Dingle has finally got what she wants. Vet Jamie has left his wife Andrea for her, and they’re a proper couple.

Having initially kept their reunion a secret, this week she reveals the news to her family, who are hardly cracking open cans of lager and doing cartwheels.

‘Sam has a pop at her, which is unexpected because they have a really close bond,’ reveals Eden Taylor-Draper, who plays the smitten receptionist. ‘That really hurts her.’
