During Diwali, the Hindu festival of lights, India’s night air is filled with the sound of exploding fireworks.
But for one young patient in this week’s episode of The Good Karma Hospital, there’s no sound – only lights – because he’s profoundly deaf.
Teenager Aadi is admitted to the hospital after collapsing in the street, and it falls to Dr Lydia Fonseca (Amanda Redman) to find a way of communicating with him.
