It’s taken months to get to this point. But serial murderer Meena Jutla – whose village killing spree started last July – is in court this week facing numerous crimes including the deaths of locals Leanna Cavanagh, Andrea Tate, and Ben Tucker. But she’s not going down without a fight.

‘In her mind, Meena’s going to blow them all away and they’re going to believe her. She thinks she’ll probably get away with it because she’s Meena and she gets away with everything,’ says Paige Sandhu, who plays the unhinged nurse.

As the trial begins, grieving doctor Liam is first up and he’s thrown when his former colleague – who killed his daughter, Leanna – portrays herself as a meek mouse.
