Q What did you want to achieve with The Choir: Singing for Britain?
A This series is not about putting together a choir. It’s really about delving into the individual stories of people from within the Great British Home Chorus, the YouTube series I’ve been doing in lockdown. So those are front-line NHS workers, key workers like refuse collectors and teachers, and those who are self-isolating due to underlying health issues. It’s about individuals writing and singing songs about their own situation.
