Nicole ‘I Feared For My Life!'

All her worst nightmares came true as a rogue gunman opened fire on set

We’re used to her flawless complexion and blonde locks, but Hollywood glamour Nicole Kidman is virtually unrecognisable in her new movie Destroyer. The actress, who plays an undercover cop in the gritty drama, has totally transformed her appearance for the role – and is already drumming up Oscar buzz.

But there was more action offset than on, with Nicole recently speaking out about a terrifying real-life situation during filming. The 51-year-old revealed how she feared for her life when an active shooter opened fire close to the Los Angeles set.

“We were in South Central LA shooting and they were like, ‘Get inside, there’s a shooter, a live shooter,’” she said. “I’m like, ‘What?’ I’ve got the [prop] gun and I’m out on the street and they dragged me in, and I hit the floor because there was a shooter and helicopters.”

It was a chilling situation for Nicole, who to prepare for her role was taught how to hold, load and fire guns during an intense month of training.
