The sky’s the limit, so goes a popular saying — and that’s where Chaumet looked to for inspiration. But as much as high jewellery is about delivering dreams of bejewelled beauties with sparkling stones, things don’t just fall from the sky in reality. And so it is for Chaumet, who took three years – from concept, design and creating the physical pieces — and supported by 239 years of heritage, to bring life to the 90 masterpieces of high jewellery, its latest offerings, collectively known as Les Ciels de Chaumet (French for Sky of Chaumet).

Shopping for a piece of high jewellery is often more than being captivated by the rare jewels and the design; it is also about resonating with the sentiments, the story if you will, that inspires and is woven into each piece. And so it is with this collection that Chaumet, ever the quintessential storyteller, deftly translates snippets of its heritage into modern-day reality.
