Fondly named Golpo, which means ‘fairy tale’ in Bengali, Nadia and Rajeeb Samdani’s home in Dhaka is a treasure trove of mainly local and South Asian contemporary art. With over 2,000 pieces, it is also the largest international art collection in Bangladesh: the couple refreshes the displayed works every 18 months, and regularly opens its doors to students and art enthusiasts—their house is listed in the BMW Art Guide, which details private collections of contemporary art that are open to the public.
