Actor, director, villain, comedian, dialogue and screenplay writer, Kader Khan passed away in the fag end of December 2018 after a prolonged illness. He was 81. As per reports the actor was suffering from Supranuclear Palsy, a degenerative disease that causes loss of balance, difficulty in walking and dementia. Khan was admitted in a hospital in Canada where his family currently resides. He was in the hospital for 17 weeks and his last rites were performed in Canada. A Tribute to the late actor.

An impeccable comic timing, razor-sharp wit, hard-hitting dialogues, effortless acting, excellent improvisations and brilliant dramatic skills makes late Kader Khan saheb not only the jack of all trades but contrary to the popular saying also the master of all these arts which makes his contribution in the Indian cinema hard to miss. Born in Kabul, Khan made hi acting debut in 1973 with Rajesh Khanna's Daag in which he acted as a prosecuting attorny.He has featured in more than 300 films and has written the dialogues for more than 250 films.
Before turning an actor, he had written the dialogues for Randhir Kapoor and Jaya Bachchan directed Jaawani Deewani. As a screenwriter he frequently collaborated with rival camps of Manmohan Desai and Prakash Mehra.His films with Desai include ‘Dharam Veer’, ‘Ganga Jamuna Saaraswati’, ‘Coolie’, ‘Desh Premee’, ‘Suhaag’, ‘Parvarish’ and ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’ and films with Mehra include ‘Jwalamukhi’, ‘Sharaabi’, ‘Laawaris’, and ‘Muqaddar Ka Sikander’.
Khan also wrote the screenplays for many films including Mr.Natwarlal, Khaoon Pasina, Do aur Do Paanch, Satte Pe Satta, Inquilab, Giraftaar, Hum, Agneepath and Naseeb. Bachchan won his first National film award for the best actor in the film Agneepath all thanks to the films hard-hitting and popular dialogues penned by khan.
