The family of entrepreneurs, Kukreja family is highbrow with an illustrious ancestral background. Serving Punjab for years in different ways as Harjinder Singh Kukreja, never liked to carry the image of an entrepreneur only, and has a lot of love and enthusiasm for contributing to the society by organising interfaith Langar, distributing clothes and other daily needs etc.
Peace and Harmony lover Kukreja continues his services in the society by bringing together people of various religions and faith by different ways. Harjinder Singh Kukreja helped create a massive awareness and was able to garner donations by organising a collection drive after the J&K Flood. Not only this, whenever society needs him; he comes forward at the very first call. Kukreja is actively involved in bringing the various communities together where he organised langar at the Jama Masjid, with the help of the Shahi Imam in Ludhiana.
Kukreja is the first person in the world to skydive in Australia with his turban on. He is also the first person to dive underwater in Turkey with his turban on. "I am trying to show fellow Sikhs that there is nothing inconvenient about the turban. It is a symbol of pride and holds you true to your identity," he says. While Kukreja is out setting firsts for his community, he is also an active philanthropist who can be seen focusing his energies towards some cause or the other that benefits the human race. His exploits range from social activism to socialite activism.
