When it comes to Rocky, and the eight films the original story has spawned across 40 years, who would have thought the narrative could possibly have another twist to propel it into the next generation? Fast forward to 2017 and Hollywood heavyweight Sylvester Stallone may need to exit stage right to make way for his brood of beautiful daughters, who have entered the arena with all the brute force one would expect from a family with a surname like Stallone.

Meet Sophia, 20, Sistine, 18, and 14-year-old Scarlet, born into a Hollywood household that reads straight from a script (multimillion-dollar Beverly Hills compound — tick; movie-star dad — tick; model mother — tick). However, this trio are anything but floundering princesses. Genetically blessed but also keenly smart and deftly competent, they’ve definitely inherited Dad’s work ethic.

“It was always hardcore in the morning,” says a laughing Sistine, who walked her very first runway show, for Chanel, last December and is currently undertaking a communications degree at the University of Southern California (USC). “From [when we were] the age of four, Dad trained us to the point where we could outrun, out throw and outbox any boy in middle school. I mean, we were strong. Every morning we would do 20 push-ups, 20 sit-ups, we’d throw shot put. He likes that we are not boys but that we are tough enough to beat the boys. I love that I could outrun any guy. It felt so cool.”
