If there’s just one description of the Louis Vuitton brand, it’d have to be: audacity without neglecting the essence of modern practicality. For its Autumn/Winter 2019 men’s pre-collection, developed by the Maison’s artistic director of menswear Virgil Abloh, Louis Vuitton is launching the Staples Collection. The new creative line is recognisable by four indicators: 1. A metal staple which bears the LV logo pinned into the material, 2. A triangular tab in classic house leather, 3. A leather printed manual on how to fold the garment attached to a carabiner, and 4. A button stitched in the image of the LV logo.
