30 ways of celebrating love.
Love is always in the details. Whether it's through a picnic at a lake resort, making a card or designing a special love message on a pillowcase, or bed sheet, here are some of the ways in which you can say “I love you” to your significant other every day.
1 Propose if you haven't
My male co-worker/friend proposed to his wife in a garden. He went to the Olive Garden in the afternoon and left three red roses in a vase with the manager. He requested that when their drinks were served they would be accompanied by the roses, an engagement ring, and a beautiful card.
2 Get her flowers
If you are a guy and plan to buy a dozen roses, put one on her pillow, one on the dresser, one on the TV. Scatter them around the house and leave a special love note with each one.
3 His hobby
Do something WITH him that he wouldn't expect you to do. Tickets to a sporting event; plan a fishing trip. If sports are not your thing, go anyway and allow yourself to have fun - enjoy his company. Show interest in his hobby, interests, and pastimes.
4 Plan a special date.
Pretend it's your very first date. Have fun. Dance. Watch the sun go down and complete your day in the arms of your significant other.
5 Picnic time!
Choose a lake resort or favourite beach. Rent a rowboat. Pack a picnic basket. Bring your favourite music, find a secluded area and have fun.
6 Chocolates for rings
If you are a guy and are giving your partner a ring, buy a large box of chocolates of trivial value. Unseal the bottom of the package and remove what's inside and replace it with the ring. Seal it back up, wrap the package with paper with red hearts, write a special love note on the outside and give it to her.
