What’s New Frequent flyers heaved a sigh of relief when Emirates recently launched the new business class cabin on select Boeing 777-200LR aircraft. The biggest development is that there is no middle seat anymore, which means that the cabin is laid out in a spacious 2-2-2 configuration. The cabin has a fresh, visibly more understated aesthetic and each seat is designed to offer utmost privacy, even when you haven’t lowered the centre dividers. As always, Emirates business class seats are a tech-lover’s delight with a massive 23-inch screen for the ICE entertainment system and a console to control the entertainment as well as customise your seat position.

What’s new Touted as the most indulgent business class cabin in the skies, the Doha-based carrier introduced a revolutionary concept in air travel called the Qsuites. As the name suggests, the business class seats on select A380 and B777-300ER aircraft are designed to look like, well, suites. While the seats are placed in different configurations (1-2-1 layout), there are clusters of four that can be converted into one massive suite of four, once the dividers are lowered. Solo travellers can enjoy complete privacy by closing the divider. Once inside, you can recline your seat all the way to bed mode, as the crew offer a turndown service.
