Nothing can be too much or too little if done right – or if done by Cartier. While the maison did not present a lot in terms of mechanical complications at SIHH this year, what they did in other areas likely created a far-reaching effect among a wider group of customers. We are talking specifically about the Panthère de Cartier collection of watches, which embraces new members: Panthère de Cartier Manchette and Panthère de Cartier Mini.
Panthère de Cartier was conceived in the 1980s, first as jewellery line, and then as a watch line. The stylish and alluring watch was absent from the market in 2004 before returning in its full glory in 2017. At that time, the collections were offered in medium and small sizes. Double-loop and triple loop bracelets followed in 2018. They gave ladies a reason to indulge in greater stylistic possibilities as the chain of gold coils flows around the wrist – the only Cartier collection to include such an exquisite bracelet.
