Entrepreneur and philanthropist Nicole Capper is all about tailor-making a career to suit your needs
Pharmacist, Survivor SA finalist, Mount Everest climber, former Mrs South Africa, philanthropist and businesswoman are only a few of the hats Nicole Capper wears. A registered pharmacist, she branched out of the pharmaceutical industry a few years ago and started exploring the world of operations management, marketing and events. She shows us how she designed her own career to suit her mission of leaving a legacy of significance.
A Voice Of Authenticity
In 2017, Nicole left formal employment as a pharmacist and began building a career for herself as a marketing strategist. She is now the CEO of the South African division of a global digital magazine and events company. “I consider myself a serial entrepreneur and I’ve started multiple companies, including an NGO called Uprising,” she says. “I enjoy using the platform I gained through being crowned Mrs South Africa 2018 to promote awareness around rare diseases and women’s rights. I believe in having a voice of authenticity and advocacy at the expense of reputation.”
