Lizbeth size 3 crochet cotton (120 yds/50g per ball):

20 yds each #665 ocean teal dk, #658 lt ocean turquoise, #710 bright blue lt, #604 black and #158 Niagara Falls

Multicolor scrap version: approximately 10 yds per color

Size 7/1.65mm steel crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge

Blocking board (optional)

Rustproof pins (optional)

Spray starch (optional)

Rnds 1–3 = 11/2inches

PATTERN NOTES

Some cupping may occur but Hot Pad will flatten as work progresses.

Weave in loose ends as work progresses.

Join with slip stitch as indicated unless otherwise stated.

Chain-3 at beginning of round counts as first double crochet unless otherwise stated.
