As flamboyant and expressive his work is, Adil Ahmad is reclusive, almost to a fault especially in this world of constant connectivity. He would much rather that his work did all the talking, and it sure does; sometimes like a poem - delicate and deliberate, and at others, like a story, with meaning and character. But always unapologetic, much like the man himself. He's opinionated, unafraid and has a disarming sense of humour. “I don't think we need to care too much about what the world thinks," says Adil as we settle into an easy conversation while he's making the most of the last few days of the Indian winter at his farm in Uttarakhand.
