Could You Take Part In Helping Hens?
Practical Poultry|Nov - Dec 2017

You could quite literally be a lifesafer.

Could You Take Part In Helping Hens?
How do you currently spend your weekends? Probably having lieins, catching up with the news, spending time with friends and perhaps a spot of shopping. Which are all pastimes you’d most likely rather not give up. Well, how do you fancy helping save lives AND still being able to do all those things?

The British Hen Welfare Trust is in search of new host sites in three key locations around the UK – all it involves is lending out your stable or barn to house a few hundred chickens for a couple of hours. You wouldn’t even have to volunteer yourself – the charity has merry teams of volunteers who will come in and do all the work, AND clean up after themselves.
