HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE THE ROCHE BOBOIS DNA?

What we try to do at Roche Bobois is to give homeowners something different than our competitors. For instance, Italian furniture companies have a very international style but we like to take risks and present extraordinary pieces of design. We also like to combine unusual materials and contemporary design with old techniques to create pieces that you won’t be able to find elsewhere.

WHAT IS GOOD DESIGN TO YOU?

I remember that when I was growing up we had a device from the German company Braun. It was a vinyl disc player and a radio. I loved this object. At the time, it was super modern. For me as a teenager, it was a representation of what design should be – very simple, modernist and industrial.
