The Launch
Moda Biella was launched in September (2019) in Dubai, where 150 of Indian tailors were invited because the whole marketing is not just Moda Biella craft, but the art, craft and the skill of the tailors who would make a bespoke suit.
History
Moda Biella has its roots in the ancient town of Biella in Italy where the history of textile industry can be traced back to year 1245 with the first references to wool workers and a ‘Weavers Guild’. Finely designed with the best quality comfort fabric, woven with natural fibre, the brand is deep-rooted to its heritage of making world-class fabrics and stands out in comparison to other fabrics available in the market.
The Unique Selling Proposition
• The fabrics are in blends of cashmere, merino, silk and linen. These fabrics offer style, drape, luster and supreme comfort to the wearer.
• Moda Biella Merino wool is a renewable natural resource and it comes from Australia, New Zealand and Tasmania.
• The natural fibre, merino wool goes through the process of spinning, weaving the cloth, finishing, garment-making to The Suit. Each process is distinctive yet significant. The making of the cloth is dependent upon the merino wool quality, the yarn thickness and twist, and the fabric weave and finish. The extra fine quality of merino wool creates superfine cloth qualities, ideal for men’s suiting, jacket and trouser tailoring
