With her surname, a super-girl gang of Kendall, Bella and Gigi, and an ex named Bieber, becoming the modern-day socialite is a given. As the daughter of Stephen Baldwin (Alec’s her uncle) and Kennya Deodato, Hailey Baldwin and her effortless good looks, lithe frame and je nais se quoi have earned her the ranks of It-girl (5 million followers would attest to it). Anything less would be unacceptable.

Despite the last name and even being on the red carpet since her infanthood, she hasn’t cut her teeth in acting just yet. Her ambitions to be a classical ballet dancer were also cut short due to a foot injury. Instead, she’s found a calling in the modelling world, walking for the likes of Moschino, Sonia Rykiel and Tommy Hilfiger. But with overnight model-of-the-moment fame comes with it a certain amount of unwanted social media attention. There was the fuss over her romance with Justin (sometimes, fangirls can go overboard), but she takes everything in her stride. She says, “Growing up in the family I have, I’m used to seeing people react that way ... People have always paid attention to things we do.”

How would you describe your personal style?

My favourite style when I‘m not on the runway would probably be some form of baggy pants, sneakers — anything to just be comfortable.
