CELTIC is proud to be participating in Amnesty International’s Football Welcomes initiative this weekend to celebrate the contribution refugee players make to the beautiful game.

In 2016, Celtic welcomed 140 Syrian refugees to watch the club lift the Scottish Premiership trophy at Celtic Park, with Syrian children, whose families had found refuge in Scotland, leading the Celtic players out on to the pitch.
