CELTIC dominated the PFA Scotland Awards on Sunday night as Scott Brown won the PFA Scotland Player of the Year, while Kieran Tierney was named the Young Player of the Year for the third year in a row.
The awards, which were voted for by fellow professionals, were announced just hours after Brown had captained Celtic to their seventh successive league title with a 5-0 demolition derby win at Paradise.
The 32-year-old first won the honour in the 2008/09 season and now follows in the footsteps of Henrik Larsson as the only player to receive the accolade on more than one occasion. Brown saw off competition from team-mate James Forrest, as well as Hibernian midfielder John McGinn and Kilmarnock striker Kris Boyd to win the award.
The Celtic captain said he took immense pride in being chosen for the award and credited everyone who had helped him in the achievement.
