CELTIC FC Foundation is delighted to announce details of its third annual Golf Day, which will take place at Renfrew Golf Club on Friday, June 16, 2017. Delivered in association with our Supporters’ Committee, the Golf Day has proven to be a hugely successful event, selling out in both 2015 and 2016.
Demand for the 2017 event is expected to be high once again and golfers are encouraged to book early to avoid disappointment. The beneficiary for the 2017 Golf Day will be Celtic FC Foundation’s award winning Ability Counts project.
Operating since 2011, this immensely popular project is aimed at helping children and young people who may ordinarily be excluded from mainstream activities and need to be given a chance. The project offers children and young people with Down’s Syndrome the opportunity to develop motor skills and team-working skills, through weekly sessions such as football and dance.
