Manushi Chillar is the stunning beauty who is our new Miss India World. She is tall, intelligent and beautiful. Even before we started talking to her, her breathtaking smile and elegance took our breath away. And when we finally began speaking to her, we realized that this beauty is truly socially conscious and prefers books to television, and wants to change the world for better. That is before we got lost in her eyes and charming personality, much to the dismay of her entourage.

FHM: Tell us more about yourself. Where did you grow up? Was your childhood fun?

Manushi: We were in Bangalore initially. We moved to Delhi when I was 7. So I’ve been completely influenced by Delhi. My childhood was great! I was always involved in different activities and loved performing on stage. My parents are very adventurous. They would take me horse riding, mountaineering and kayaking.

What’s the most embarrassing moment you remember from your teenage?

The most embarrassing moment I can recall was during the auditions. We were given Fashion at Big Bazaar dresses and the top 6 could keep them. But mine hadn’t been checked off. When I walked out, the alarms began to buzz. The next thing I know, someone was giving me a look and saying “Ma’am you need to return the dress”.

I am single.

What is the best place for a guy to approach you?

Anywhere I don’t expect him to.
