Meet Two New Characters From A Hit Show

In this era of peak TV and streaming services, it can be hard to keep pace with which shows are coming on when, if they’re taking a break, and when they’re returning. In fact, we thought we were done with our time unravelling Mumbai’s dark underbelly in Netflix’s hit show Sacred Games, but we were wrong. Considering the huge response it received, the streaming giant decided to go ahead with a second season of the show (which hits your mobile screens on August 15th). The second installment of Netflix’s first India original promises to be more riveting and grand. It will pick up from the nail-biting climax of Season 1. Saif Ali Khan, who plays Sartaj Singh, embarks on a journey of self-discovery, struggles to solve the mystery of Gaitonde’s third father, and attempts to salvage his failed marriage, all while trying to save Mumbai from a massacre. Nawazuddin Siddiqui also reprises his role as Ganesh Gaitonde, who will concern himself with assembling a cartel in order to reestablish his power and position as the king.

Apart from the old faces, actors Kalki Koechlin and Ranvir Shorey will be joining the cast along with a few others. The duo filled us in on their characters, and the surprises to look out for in Season 2.
