It was a bit of a surprise when audiophile brand Astell & Kern announced the Acro BE100 Bluetooth wireless speaker, as the Korean audiomaker is better known for personal audio devices like their personal digital audio players and earphones, though under the Acro designation, they do have a small number of audio products to expand your personal music enjoyment to fill a room.
The BE100 isn’t a ‘we also have BT speakers’ type of product, and while it was specifically designed to seamlessly pair with A&K DAPs, it has plenty of standalone capabilities to create an excellent sound from any source.
