At first glance of the Vision-S, you’d think that Japanese Consumer Electronics giant Sony was getting ready to take on Tesla, but that’s sadly not the case. But rather than the traditional route of creating exhibition ‘stations’ where the curious can sample each technological example independently, Sony partnered with a number of automotive supply companies such as Bosch and Benteler to create the Vision-S, and it’ll be road tested later this year.
