The Popular Contestant Reveals He Is Set To Become A Dad For The First Time!

As My Kitchen Rules celebrates its 10th season, the hit cooking show has clocked up another major milestone.

Much-loved contestant John Krasenstein and his wife Chloe exclusively reveal to New Idea that they are expecting a My Kitchen Rules baby! “I fell pregnant while John was filming MKR,” Chloe says excitedly.

Proud father-to-be John – who entered the competition with mum Lisa – explains: “During filming, Chloe took a couple months off work and she came over to Sydney so we could keep trying for a baby.”

The Perth couple believe if it wasn’t for MKR, they may not be preparing for the arrival of their little girl, who is due at the end of July.

“Chloe and I got married almost three years ago and we started trying straight away,” John, 29, says.

However, the married couple confess that they started to lose hope after the first year of trying for a baby was unsuccessful.

“I think a lot of people have the same problem and I think it’s just not talked about a lot,” Chloe says. “You never know if it’s going to be you that’s going to have a problem until you try.
