‘I LOVE GETTING OLDER!'

FROM NASTY RUMOURS TO A TERRIFYING STALKER, THE SINGER TELLS ALL AHEAD OF HER BIG DAY

As she prepares to celebrate her milestone 50th birthday this week, TV favorite Jo Beth Taylor tells New Idea she’s feeling amazingly upbeat and ready to tackle the next exciting chapter of her life.

“I don’t fear that half-century mark at all. In fact, despite the craziness of the world, I’m feeling really good right now … better than ever,” she shares. “The one hitch is I do miss my son terribly.”

Eighteen months ago, Jo Beth’s 20-year-old son, Christian, relocated to Austria to spend time with his dad, Jo Beth’s second husband, tennis champion Thomas Muster.

“They were having some fabulous bonding time, then COVID-19 struck. Christian decided to stay put, learn German and get a job – all amazing life experience,” says Jo Beth. “But I miss him dearly. We are very close. Thank goodness for FaceTime and a daily flurry of texts.”
