For nearly three decades, The Bill was must-watch telly for millions – including many Aussies.

Now, 12 years after the last criminal was “nicked”, it’s been revealed that not only is a reboot on the way, but a second spin-off series has also been given the green light!

Titled Sun Hill – after the fictional London police station the original series was set in – the first reboot will mix a new cast with some familiar faces, including fan favourites Trudie Goodwin, who played Sgt June Ackland, and Mark Wingett, aka DC Jim Carver.
