SHADES OF CRIMSON swirl against the sun-stained skies as waves dance softly in the distance. A coastal breeze cools the beautiful remains of daylight. For the unveiling of Omega’s latest Aqua Terra editions, a pristine, picturesque island such as Langkawi is perfect.
On the rooftop of The St Regis Langkawi, a fiesta takes form. Celebrities and media arrive to celebrate the fresh wave of Aqua Terra timepieces, as great wine and delicious seafood flow freely. Music bestows on the evening a plush vibe as pianist Sharon Chong tickles the ivories, while jazz singer Evelyn Feroza’s sultry voice resonates across the halls. In attendance were Malaysian stars Siti Saleha, Sharifah Sakinah, Bella Dally, Jasmine Suraya Chin, Nazim Othman, Ryzal Jaafar and Juwei Teoh.
Gregory Kissling, who heads Omega’s product management, joins the cocktail and demonstrates the remarkable anti-magnetic properties of the Seamaster Aqua Terra, which guests try out for themselves in between all that revelry and gaiety.
