Landing in London...
Everyone who has been to London wants to visit the place again and anyone who has not yet, dreams to be there at least once. Megha Bajaj says, “London, in general, is a warm place to visit. It has a lot of historical monuments, museums, and a lot of cultures. The vibe, in general, is pretty old school at the same time it's very fresh and youthful!
There are tons of places to go and visit which are not just your mainstream places.” She takes us through her trip and the places she explored during her mini solo vacation.
How was your experience travelling solo in London?
"I had extreme fun travelling solo,” says Megha who was keen on exploring the not so talked about places in London. “Walking around even the basic famous places which are well-known like the Old Bond Street or Camden and finding that tiny grunge cafe or that royal shopping arcade that are not so explored was very joyful.” She says that every nook and corner in London has something to offer. "You could practically visit London ten times a year also and you would have new things to discover. I loved travelling solo. It gave me the freedom to walk around and explore things, you know, like a person who lives in London, at that leisure.
I was not like a tourist marking the famous spots to visit in the mentioned time, I was living there for three and half weeks as I belong to the place, as a local person would. I walked around and explored things. So I really enjoyed that.” Megha found London safe and warm and cosy and she absolutely had fun travelling solo.
