Pegasus Food Futures was formed by Pegasus Agriculture Group, the largest owners and operators of hydroponic farming facilities in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). Water shortage and a lack of arable land in the MENA region mean that it hugely benefits from hydroponic farming methods. Also known as soil-less culture, hydroponic farming means crops receive water and nutrients directly through the roots.
