Australian International School

Australian International School (AIS) is the only school in SG offering Australian Curriculum and International Baccalaureate (IB). The school prides itself on being globally focused while remaining distinctly Australian in its culture and attitude. There’s a strong team spirit between students, parents and staff, and an emphasis on arts, sports and outdoors education.

Insider tip: AIS shares the purpose-built Early Learning Village with Stamford American International School (page 14), which provides top-notch infant care from 2 months and up.

Approximate annual fees: from $23,160 for 5 full days at Nursery to $42,852 for Years 10 to 12. (3 Chuan Ln., 554350; 1 Lorong Chuan, 556818, www.ais.com.sg;)

Canadian International School

Founded in 1990, Canadian International School (CIS) is an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School with more than 3,300 students between two campuses: Lakeside in the west (2 to 18 years) and Tanjong Katong in the east (2 to 12 years). The school is known for its academic achievements and a well-rounded approach.

Approximate annual fees: from $24,000 for Nursery full-day to $40,900 for Grades 11 to 12. (visit www.cis.edu.sg for locations)

Chatsworth International School

With an enrolment of 800 students for Kindergarten through Year 13 (Grade 12) across two campuses, Chatsworth takes pride in its “small school” ethos and nurturing environment. It offers the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years, Middle Years and Diploma Programmes to students of more than 50 nationalities. Located next to Bukit Timah Nature Reserve, the campus has a serene yet vibrant feel.
