Looking back, what do you consider the defining moments in your first 100 days in this position?

Since I started the business in Malaysia from scratch, I literally had to create and carve out my own position first. Every day was a new challenge and things also did not go as fast as initially anticipated. The most defining moment, I would say, came when the company finally got registered the way we wanted it – after six months.

What do you regard are the crucial factors for you to stay on top of your game?

I think that the most important thing is to unleash the potential in your team and enable them to work as a team. Make sure your team can do the job – otherwise, you will have to do it yourself. And, of course, you need to have your eyes on the horizon – for me, it’s the five-year one.

What do you foresee are the game-changing challenges facing your industry and how do you propose to overcome them?
