Try: Jivamukti Yoga with Dina Ghandour at The Greens We’re big fans of this husband-and-wife run studio, particularly the first of its three locations in The Greens. Don’t let the office building entrance turn you off; once you walk into the cosy space you’ll be greeted with smiles and smells of incense. The rooms are whitewashed and minimalist yet bright and airy thanks to big windows overlooking the neighbourhood.

Zen Yoga
Try: Vinyasa Flow with Melissa Ghattas at Dubai Media City This no-frills studio group boasts being one of the oldest and most established in Dubai. Catch a class with some of the city’s most experienced yoga instructors at one of their three locations, Emirates Hills, Umm Suqueim – and the most popular of the three – Dubai Media City. No fancy showers or shampoos here, but what it misses in luxury it offers back in quality via real-deal yoga instructors. If you like your personal space, morning classes are your best bet as evening classes fill up (Laura Farrier and Melissa Ghattas are particular OG’s at the Media City location) with mats so tightly wedged in that you can practically feel the sweat from your neighbour. Bring your own mat. Serious post-yoga buzz guaranteed.

Let yourself be whisked off to our favourite indoor bars and hideaways – with AC, summery feels and maybe an ice-cold drink to keep you chill. Then dream of refreshing dishes to fill your belly.
