INTRODUCTION Kateryna model from Ukraine who is presently living in India. She is very passionate about her work . Modelling takes most of her time and she enjoys it to the core. She misses her country, her family and her friends a lot, but she sacrifices so many things because of her commitments of work. She loves India and very happy living in India. Because of her kind heart she has met many amazing people and she has lot of friends here too. She is grateful to India and people around her in India. Her life is full of adventures, experiences and bright moments . She is proud to say that her family supported her in everything. She strongly believes that there love and blessings has helped her to be successful in life.

Enlighten India: Why did you choose to pursue a career as a model?

Kateryna : In fact it happened just fortuitously. I never dreamed about being model, couldn’t even imagine it. I was studying government administration in university and saw my future in politics. Owner of one big Ukrainian model agency saw me and called for interview at his office . I think bc of him I chose this profession , as he convinced me that I have potential to become a good model. Now I am very grateful to him for helping in start of my career.

Enlighten India: What is your greatest strength, as a model?

Kateryna : It must be my experience. Working as model 11 years now I can say if model knows what to expect on casting, shoot, fashion show she will give better results. Bc of my experience its easy for me to understand what is client’s requirement and give exact expressions and poses.

Enlighten India: What is your greatest weakness, as a model? What are you doing to improve on it?

Kateryna : Sometimes I get upset when shoots are going longer than it should be. I dot like to waist time on set. Also I was very impatient before. It was really hard for me to wait on castings, or waiting for team on shoot location. But now its not troubling me anymore. I just accepted that things which I am unable to change shouldn’t make me sad.
