Like it or not, your body does love a good challenge. Treat it well with the right nourishment and you’ll see great result. It will take your whole life to get fit, but do you have something else better to do? Mel doesn’t just see his body grow and improve, he can feel it in his body development.
AMM - As a native North Carolinian, how would you grade the overall health and fitness in your area?
Mel - I see many athletes and people in general are doing more cardio than ever before. I find that people in our area are becoming more health conscious in order to live longer. I feel that individuals have the ability to control his/her eating habits to become more physically fit and in essence taking care of themselves. There seems to be a mixture of millennials and the older generation in the gym working out together. It’s great to see that both generations are serving as motivating factors to each other to help achieve his/her fitness goals. I find that individuals are now taking health and fitness more seriously.
AMM - Tell us how you had developed the interest in health and fitness in your teenage years.
