For an event that was founded in order to showcase and celebrate the guitar-building community worldwide, the Holy Grail Guitar Show in Berlin is now more important than ever for an industry that’s facing new challenges – namely the recent CITES regulations on rosewood (that sees a restriction on its import). We spoke to Mike Hembury about this year’s show and the challenges currently facing luthiers.
