With his appointment to the TIACA Board of Directors, air cargo veteran Ramesh Mamidala hopes to improve trade processes and practices that need involvement of various government and trade bodies.
CRUISING HEIGHTS has been highlighting the speedy growth of the Indian air cargo market and its potential regularly, and met Mamidala recently to find out his course of action as a director in TIACA.
“There is a lot of great work that TIACA has been doing since its inception,” said Mamidala, and that is what has benefitted many countries. “I hope to bring all the good work that would benefit our nation, to several trade bodies and organisations across the nation,” he said and went on to mention that his “immediate focus will be to look for these opportunities and bring them to the country as soon as possible”. Along with that, he would work hard with TIACA to “improve its footprint in India”.
