Police in Derry have appealed for witnesses following the death of a 19-year-old man.
An 18-year-old has been arrested on suspicion of murder and at the time of going to print was still in custody at Strand Road Police Station.
Jordan McConomoy, from the Rossnagalliagh area of Derry died following an assault in the William Street area in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Police have said that they are aware that a number of people were socialising in the area at the time and have appealed for any witnesses to come forward.
They have also asked any motorists who may have any dash cam footage of the incident to come forward.
Detective Chief Inspector Geoff Boyce of the PSNI Serious Crime Branch said that the ambulance service attended the scene shortly after 2am.
