CRAWLEY keeper Glenn Morris says last weekend’s 3-0 demolition of Premier League Leeds was easier than an average weekend in League Two!
The veteran stopper faced just two shots as a side featuring England midfielder Kalvin Phillips was put to the sword in the FA Cup third round.
Goals from Nick Tsaroulla, Ashley Nadesan and Jordan Tunnicliffe did the damage, but equally noteworthy was the ease with which Crawley kept their illustrious opponents at bay. Rarely can upsets have been more comfortable.
Asked whether he’s faced worse in his day job, Morris said: “Yeah, definitely. As a goalkeeper, you get tested every week in League Two. Aerially, it’s a constant bombardment.
“But it wasn’t really like that. It was all in front of us. They had a lot of the ball but they didn’t really hurt us. I know it sounds silly, but we could have scored more. We had loads of chances and I don’t really remember them threatening too much.
