Ivan Toney’s 28th goal of the season, from the spot, was not enough for the Bees to maintain their push for the top two after Filip Krovinovic levelled just after the hour.
But Frank remained upbeat, despite seeing his side drop four points in the past two games against a side mid-table or below.
“If you look at the 90 minutes it’s more or less a spotless performance. If you look at the numbers, how big the chances were and how we played, it’s a 4-1 win, so that is what we will take away from this game,” said the Dane.
“In the first half we were on top, created chances and gave nothing away. In the second we came out strong and wanted to press forward to get the second.”
