Rolls-Royce Is Back On Track After Cutting Costs

It follows double-digit growth at its civil aerospace, defence and power systems businesses.

CEO Tufan Erginbilgic said it had delivered a record performance in 2023 thanks to his turnaround plan which has seen him cut costs, reorganise the business, prioritise investment for the best performing areas, and seek to improve customer service and safety.

Rolls-Royce's cost cutting drive will mean up to 2,500 job losses between now and 2025, a move that could generate savings of some £200million.
