Softlogic Opens New 25,000 Sq. Ft. Mall In Mount Lavinia

The Softlogic group opened a new 25,105 square feet mall in Mount Lavinia last week, which is part of its long-term retail strategy to build malls where consumers can enjoy retail experiences on par with developed markets, the company said.

Softlogic has business interests in retail, healthcare, ICT, automobiles, leisure, and financial services. The group employs over 11,000 at its offices in Sri Lanka and Australia.

The new mall has three of its retail brands, supermarket brand Softlogic Glomark, fashion retailers Odel and Softlogic Max.

“ Creating this landmark hypermarket, encompassing three of our most celebrated retail brands, in the heart of Mount Lavinia, is part of our long-term retail strategy to build destinations where our customers can savour a true retail experience on par with many developed markets,” said Softlogic Holdings PLC Chairman Ashok Pathirage.
