Ann: No One Can Destroy Hearts Now

Ann Budge insists the handover of power to the Foundation of Hearts ensures “nobody will be able to destroy the club without the supporters being able to stop it”.

The fans group yesterday took ownership of the majority shareholding after an eight-year journey back from the brink.

Budge and the foundation made that journey hand in hand after former owner Vladimir Romanov left the Jambos with debts that almost crippled them.

Now she says the club has an executive team in place – led by CEO Andrew McKinlay – that she would back against any other club in Scotland.
