BELARUS has been accused of state terrorism after a Ryanair flight was diverted so a dissident could be arrested.
The Irish airline said its crew was ordered to land in the Belrusian capital Minsk after being told of a bomb threat.
It was escorted down by a MiG-29 fighter jet before activist blogger Roman Protasevich and his Russian girlfriend were huckled off the plane.
EU Commission president Ursula von der Leyen branded the swoop a “hijacking”.
