Double Break To Jaw Is Truly Horrible Says Dub Andrews

Mayo defender McLaughlin was knocked out in last Saturday night’s All-Ireland semi-final at Croke Park, after a John Small shoulder caught him in the jaw (below).

McLaughlin has since undergone surgery and will miss the All-Ireland final in three-and-a-half weeks’ time.

Speaking to ‘The Football Podcast,’ on Newstalk, Andrews wished McLaughlin “a speedy recovery.”

He went on to hit out at what he called the trial by social media of players — in this case, Small — labelling it a ‘a load of b*****ks,’ insisting there was no malice in the challenge.
